Flexible Spending Accounts
Washington County Public Schools offers employees the opportunity to contribute pretax dollars to a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) used to pay for qualifying expenses. Depending on the type of FSA, those expenses might include childcare or medical costs that are not covered by health, dental or vision insurance. For a complete explanation, including a list of what is covered, please click on ‘FSA Employee Guide’ on the right.
Open Enrollment for Flexible Spending account is November 1 - 16 for a January 1 effective date.
During Open Enrollment you may make elections for calendar year 2019. You must re-elect your FSA each plan year and cannot make changes to your election outside of open enrollment unless you have a “qualifying life event."
