Academic Support

Williamsport High School will be offering an after-school tutoring program. The purpose of this program is to provide academic support and additional instruction for students who are struggling in the core area of mathematics. Tutors will be available Monday through Thursday.  Each session will be from 3:35 to 4:30 in Room 170. These tutoring sessions are offered to students free of charge.  If transportation is a problem, please discuss this with your counselor.

Does your student need Tutoring?

Williamsport High School teachers are very willing to individually help their students before or after school. Please contact your student’s teacher directly in order to arrange dates and times.

Williamsport High School National Honor Society offers tutoring services free of charge. National Honor Society students are available to tutor in any subject, before or after school. To apply for this service, have your student see their School Counselor.

If the two options above do not interest you, the Department of Instruction at the Board of Education can provide you a list of private tutors that you can contact for tutoring services. This service is NOT free of charge. The telephone number for the Department of Instruction is 301-766-2911.
