On September 6, 2022, the Washington County Board of Education (“Board”) approved the first reading of proposed changes to the following policies:

• BHD – “Board of Education Member Compensation and Expenses”
• IKF – “Graduation Requirements”
• IKFA – “High School Diploma – World War II, Korean Conflict, or Vietnam Conflict Veterans”

The Board’s Policy Committee (“Committee”) is seeking comments from the community at this time on the proposed changes to the policies, which are attached.  You may submit your comments electronically or by U.S. mail on or before September 16, 2022, to the members of the Committee and to the staff liaison to the Committee at the following addresses:
