Washington County Board of Education is Seeking Public Comment on Proposed Policy JED

On May 2, 2022, the Washington County Board of Education (“Board”) approved the first reading of proposed Policy JED, entitled “Student Registered Sex Offenders – Entry on School Property.”

The Board’s Policy Committee (“Committee”) is seeking comments from the community at this time on the proposed policy, which is attached.  You may submit your comments electronically or by U.S. mail on or before May 20, 2022, to the members of the Committee and to the staff liaison to the Committee at the following addresses:
