What is Parent/StudentVUE used for?

Parent/StudentVUE provides secure & private electronic access to your student's school information, including:
- Class & assignment grades
- Overdue assignments
- Interim reports & report cards
- Attendance information
- Communications

How do I create an account?
|
Contact your child’s school main office and request an Activation Key for your account
|
How do I access ParentVUE?
|
- In order to gain access to the ParentVUE, you need an account Activation Key
- Contact the school where your youngest child is enrolled to request an Activation Key
- Once you receive the account Activation Key, you can access ParentVUE and activate your account
|
What should I do if I receive more than one Activation Key letter?
|

My Activation Key is not working

Verify that you are typing your first & last name exactly as it is listed in the letter

You may have already activated an account in the past – Try resetting your password

Contact your child’s school

What should I do if I do not see all my children listed in ParentVUE?
|
|
Will I receive different log-in’s for each child?
|

All of your children are under one ParentVUE account. You will be provided a single sign-on to view the information for all your children enrolled in a WCPS school (whether they are in elementary, middle or high school)

Use the drop down menu in the upper right hand corner to switch between student records

If your family includes a blended family or guardian/ custodial restrictions, parents/guardians will receive an Activation Key that authorizes ParentVUE rights only to students for whom they have educational rights

Can two guardians receive separate log-in information?

Yes, ParentVUE provides a separate log-in for each legal parent/guardian

Upon activation, each parent establishes a separate and unique username and password. Both parents’ accounts will then be linked to the same student(s)
|
Can I log into my account from my mobile device?
|

What if I forgot my log-in information?
|

You can request a new password from the Parent/StudentVUE log-in page

If you continue to have difficulties, contact your child’s school's main office
|
What if I don’t remember my username or receive “school district server is unavailable"?
|
|
I did not receive an email to reset my password?
|

StudentVUE will send an email to the school issued email address ( _ _ _ _ _ _ _ [email protected])

ParentVUE will send an email to the email address the ParentVUE account was created with and any email address the school has on file for the parent
|
What if my account is disabled/locked?
|

I forgot my password, how do I reset my password?
|

Go to: Parent/StudentVUE log-in page

Click I’m a parent

Click Forgot Password

Enter your email address and click Send Email

Follow the steps to change your password within 20 mins
NOTE: enter your first & last name exactly as it appears on account

Whom should I contact if I have a question about the information I see?

Grades for class assignments during the current semester, talk with your child first

If you still have questions, you may call your child's teacher or email him/her

General attendance questions should be directed to the main office at your child’s school
