School Report Cards

The Maryland State Department of Education is sharing data about how each student's school is performing. Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) is making these reports available.

What parents should know:

  • The School Performance Report includes information in the areas of academic achievement, academic progress, progress in achieving English language proficiency (if applicable), school quality and student success, and readiness for post-secondary success (high schools only).
  • WCPS believes there are several other factors that determine the success of our schools, such as state and national awards, school-based programs and activities and other assessments.
  • The figures in the report were compiled with information from the Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program (MCAP) scoring taken from previous school years.

Copies of the report are available in the front office of each school.
