Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) invites students, staff, parents, and members of the greater Washington County community to participate in upcoming public meetings and input opportunities to assist the Washington County Board of Education (WCBOE) and the consultant who has been contracted to recruit and hire a new superintendent of schools. The executive search firm, McPherson and Jacobson, will facilitate the public meetings and surveys and will compile the feedback for review and consideration by WCBOE members.

Survey Responses

Individuals may contribute their thoughts and feedback by completing an online survey, which will be open through April 28, 2022. Responses will be returned directly to McPherson & Jacobson, and respondents are not required to submit any personally identifiable information. All questions are open responses. Hard copies of the survey are available upon request to the Public Information Office by calling 301-766-2809.

Input Meetings

McPherson and Jacobson, in coordination with WCPS, will host a series of input meetings with various groups within the WCPS learning community. The consultant will facilitate a discussion among meeting attendees to gather feedback.
