On April 5, 2022, the Washington County Board of Education (“Board”) approved the first reading of proposed changes to Policy JEA, entitled “Pregnant and Parenting Students Attendance Policy.”

The Board’s Policy Committee (“Committee”) is seeking comments from the community at this time on the proposed changes to the policy, which is attached.  You may submit your comments electronically or by U.S. mail on or before April 15, 2022, to the members of the Committee and to the staff liaison to the Committee at the following addresses:
