Washington County Board of Education is Seeking Public Comment on Proposed Changes to its Ethics Policy, Administrative Regulation, and Exhibits
On May 2, 2022, the Washington County Board of Education (“Board”) approved the first reading of proposed changes to:
- Policy BBFE – “Ethics”
- Administrative Regulation BBFE-R – “Washington County Board of Education Ethics Regulations”
- Exhibit BBFE-E(1) – “Ethics Complaint Reporting Form”
- Exhibit BBFE-E(3) – “Financial Disclosure Form A”
- Exhibit BBFE-E(4) – “Financial Disclosure Form B”
The Board’s Policy Committee (“Committee”) is seeking comments from the community at this time on the proposed changes to the policy, administrative regulation, and exhibits, which are attached. You may submit your comments electronically or by U.S. mail on or before May 20, 2022, to the members of the Committee and to the staff liaison to the Committee at the following addresses:

The Board of Education is required to submit its proposed changes to the State Ethics Commission for review and approval. The Policy Committee will present the second reading of the documents to the Board of Education after the State Ethics Commission has given its approval of the proposed changes.
