Student Textbooks on Display; Public Comments Welcome

Hagerstown, MD (April 6, 2022) - Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) has purchased McGraw Hill's Traditions and Encounters: A Global Perspective on the Past (7th Edition) by Jerry H. Bentley, Herbert F. Ziegler, Heather E. Streets-Salter, and  Craig Benjamin. This textbook will support WCPS AP students who are enrolled in grades ten through twelve. WCPS is seeking review and feedback that will be considered in the implementation of the texts in the classroom. 

The display also includes College Physics: Explore and Apply (2nd Edition), AP® Edition ©2019 with Mastering® Physics with Pearson eText, Etkina et al. This textbook will support AP Physics classes. 

Additionally, two books for the forthcoming Diesel Technology Program at Washington County Technical High School are also on display. Fundamentals of Medium/Heavy Duty Commercial Vehicle Systems (2nd Edition) and Fundamentals of Medium/Heavy Duty Diesel Engines (2nd Edition) are also available for review and comment. 

The textbooks will be on display in the lobby of the Center for Education Services (CES) located at 10435 Downsville Pk, Hagerstown, Maryland. Instructions for submitting comments will be presented alongside the textbook.
