Whether it is your child’s first day of pre-k or the start of their senior year, the first day of school is a milestone captured with a photo each year. Help WCPS highlight these exciting and memorable moments across the county by sharing your favorite first day of school snapshots on social media.

WCPS has prepared signs to compliment your child’s smile with the school year and their grade. Just download and print the image, or you can even save it on a device to hold when you take their picture.

Post your child’s photo on Facebook or Twitter using the hashtag #WCPSfirstday. Please include your child’s name, grade level, and school in your post (WCPS will not publish last names). Make your post public so we can see those smiles! Photos can also be posted to the WCPS Facebook page.
