BISFA ARTS EXPLORATION GRADE 5 SESSION

Washington County Students* in Grades 5 who have demonstrated an interest in the visual and performing arts:

● DANCE

● VOCAL MUSIC

● INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC 

Brass, woodwinds, strings, piano, percussion 

● THEATRE ARTS

● VISUAL ARTS

● CREATIVE WRITING

 

are invited to submit an application of interest to participate in the Washington County Public Schools BISFA Arts Exploration

at The Barbara Ingram School for the Arts on South Potomac Street in Hagerstown

Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

 

2022 – 5th Grade Spring Program

April 23, 2022, April 30, 2022, May 14, 2022

 

● Students will select a primary interest area for the three-week session.

● Students selected will be expected to be present at all three sessions.

● Student applications must be submitted by March 28, 2022 to Barbara Ingram School for the Arts - Arts Exploration, 7 South Potomac Street, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740

Student enrollments in each area, except instrumental music will be limited to 20 students.  A lottery system will be used to select students when the applicants exceed enrollment limits.  

● There is no charge to participate in the Arts Exploration program.

● Parents/Guardians will provide or arrange student transportation to and from the Saturday sessions.
