BOE Seeking Public Comment on Proposed Changes to School Meals Policy; Deadline for Public Comment Extended

Hagerstown, MD (October 12, 2017) - The Washington County Board of Education (BOE), at its September 12, 2017 business meeting, approved the first reading of proposed changes to Policy EFEA, entitled “Local Funding of School Lunch,” and the first reading to rescind Policy EFF, entitled “School Lunch – Breakfast Program.” The BOE's Policy Committee is seeking comments from the community at this time on the proposed changes, which are available for download under Documents to the right of this page. 

You may submit your comments electronically on or before November 3, 2017, to the members of the Committee and the staff liaison to the Committee. The e-mail addresses are as follows:
