BOE to Review Facilities Master Plan

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 16, 2016) – The Washington County Board of Education (BOE) is expected to review the latest Educational Facilities Master Plan (EFMP) at a public work session on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the Center for Education Services, 10435 Downsville Pike, Hagerstown. The plan is updated annually and reflects the conditions and status of facilities, enrollment projections and an analysis of future facility needs. The document guides the BOE and Washington County Public Schools staff in building and maintaining safe, efficient and cost-effective schools and related facilities, basing needs on factors that include changing demographic, economic and land development trends in the county.
