BOE Accepting Comments On Proposed Update to School Fund-Raising Policy

Hagerstown, MD (June 30, 2016) - As a result of recent events, the Board of Education’s (BOE) Policy Review and Development Committee conducted several public work sessions for the purpose of examining and updating Board of Education Policy JLA/IGDF, entitled “Fund-Raising in School-Sponsored Activities.”

During the BOE's business meeting on June 21, 2016, the chair of the Policy Committee provided the school community with information on why the current policy must be updated and the process it would be following to provide the school community with an opportunity to offer comments.
