2022 Summer Camps and Summer Credit Opportunities Offered

Posted May 4, 2022

WCPS encourages students to stay engaged in learning over the summer with unique, creative, and fun camp-style learning opportunities!

ELEMENTARY School Students:

Summer Camps are available to ALL ELEMENTARY school students at ALL schools!

Students can choose to attend camps at any school, not just their home school. If you find a camp that is interesting, please contact the school to find out if there are seats available to attend! NOTE: some schools may already have camps that are full and cannot take additional students.

Elementary schools will also be providing small group and individual tutoring and/or intervention.

Call your school if you are interested in having your child participate.

MIDDLE School Students:

Summer Camps are available to MIDDLE school students ONLY at their home school!

Currently, camps are prioritizing student attendance on a needs basis.

Registration will be open to all students as spots become available.

HIGH School Students:

The HIGH School summer program is available to current and rising high school students!

Traditional classroom-based courses are offered at all high schools except Barbara Ingram School for the Arts. There will be a limited number of courses offered for original credit and several courses offered for repeat credit.

Parents and students should communicate with their school counselor about course selection and enrollment.

MEALS & TRANSPORTATION:

There is no charge to attend any of the summer opportunities. Students will receive FREE breakfast and lunch if they are at school during breakfast and lunch hours.

Transportation will be provided at designated “hub” stops throughout the county, providing the student is attending within their home school boundary.
