Swingin' in the Park started in 1998 to showcase the county's middle and high school jazz bands. This event was originally held at Doub's Woods behind South High, then moved to the amphitheatre at Hagerstown Community College, then to the band shell in scenic Hagerstown City Park. Swingin' is a non-competitive showcase and is free to the public.
