Parent Rights & Resources

Parents have the right to review and give input to the WCPS Parent Involvement Plan at any time.

Parents may request information regarding professional qualifications of their child’s teacher, and of paraprofessionals who provide instructional services to their children.

Federal law requires us to let you know when a teacher or substitute who does not have a certain set of credentials teaches your child for four or more consecutive weeks. In the event that this would occur, you would be notified in a timely manner. If you have questions about this process, please contact the Title I office at 301-766-2936.

You can call or email with any questions or comments.
