The Concert Band is made up primarily of freshmen band students, although several older students are also a part of the ensemble.  In Concert Band, students focus on fundamental skills related playing their instruments and perform a variety music primarily at a Grade 3 difficulty on the Maryland Music Educator's Association Graded Repertoire list.  The Concert Band has received Superior Ratings at the Washington County Large Ensemble Festival.
