Christopher Mackley is a senior at Williamsport High School (WHS) currently serving his second one-year term on the Board. He has been a lifelong attendee of Williamsport schools, where he is enrolled in the STEM program, as well as many honors and AP courses. He has earned the Maryland Seal of Biliteracy and was recognized by the Maryland Association of Student Councils as the State Student Leader of the Month (October 2019). He is a member of the 2019 1A State Champion Wildcat cross country team, as well as the indoor and outdoor track teams at WHS. Christopher has been actively involved in student government for almost seven years, having served as an officer or executive board member at the middle school, high school, county and state level. Outside of school, he is a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Clear Spring and works as a court monitor at Sky Zone Trampoline Park. Christopher has a passion for running, travel, food and student advocacy. He plans on attending a four-year university to study business after high school. He looks forward to continuing his representation of the students of Washington County Public Schools on the Board of Education during the 2019-2020 school year.
