WCPS Students Continue Distance Learning on Snow Days

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) will continue holding school through distance learning in the event of inclement weather. This means school will not be canceled, delayed, or dismissed early if our area experiences a “snow day.”

During a winter weather event, students will continue a normal school day by participating in live, online classes on the current school day schedule.

UPDATE: Zoom Connectivity Issues

UPDATE: Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) has resolved an issue that prevented some students from joining Zoom classrooms this morning, November 30. The problem was the result of an incorrect user setting that has now been updated across WCPS devices.

WCPS apologizes for the inconvenience this caused our students, staff, and those who are supporting children in distance learning. We appreciate our learning community’s patience as we restored connectivity for students.
