Flexible Spending Accounts

Washington County Public Schools offers employees the opportunity to contribute pretax dollars to a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) used to pay for qualifying expenses. Depending on the type of FSA, those expenses might include childcare or medical costs that are not covered by health, dental or vision insurance. For a complete explanation, including a list of what is covered, please click on FSA Employee Guide under Documents on the right side of this page.

Our vendor is Flexible Benefit Administrators (FBA) and they have helpful information on their website. You will find the link on the right side of this page under Links. The Plan Year for FSA is the same as your health insurance, July 1 - June 30. It’s important to carefully consider how much you will incur in expenses during this time frame.
