Fall Open House at Tech High on November 9

HAGERSTOWN, MD (October 30, 2017) – Washington County Technical High School will hold its annual Fall Open House on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tenth grade students, their families and the public are welcome to tour the school and learn more about the 17 specialized programs and the academic courses offered at Tech High. The school, a STEM Innovation School, is located at 50 West Oak Ridge Drive, Hagerstown.

The technical programs offered at Tech High include Project Lead the Way Biomedical Science and Engineering, Academy of Health Professions, Culinary Arts, Criminal Justice, Computer Repair and Networking, Cosmetology, Computer Game Development and Animation, Digital Communications, Early Childhood Professions, Multimedia and Graphic Design, Automotive Technology, Collision Repair, Electrical Construction, Carpentry, Fire and Rescue Academy and Homeland Security Global Imaging and Communication Technology.

Many students graduate from Tech High having earned both University of Maryland and Career and Technology Education completers. Students also have the opportunity to complete certifications in their fields.

Admission is free to the open house.
