Reminder: As stated in the Student/Parent WCTHS Handbook, “Seniors must have completed their SSL hours by April 6, 2018 in order to attend the May 2018 Prom. Juniors must have completed their SSL hours by May 1, 2018 in order to attend the May 2018 Prom.” Deadlines are quickly approaching! Tutor Needed: A Bester Elementary 5th grade student is in need of a high school student willing to tutor in math and language arts. Walk MS (495 Premium Outlets) on Saturday, April 21st 6:00 AM-12:00 PM-Students needed to lend a hand before, during and after the event. Positions include: Set-up, registration, greeters, hand out snacks & drinks, photography and tear-down. If interested, apply online at Volunteer Match.

Summer Day Camp: The 4-H Program at the University of Maryland Extension - Washington County Office is offering a summer day camp geared toward connecting youth to science, technology, and agriculture.
To ensure the successful operation of this camp, they are looking for high school students age 14 - 18 to serve as Teen Leaders. They will be required to complete 30 hours of training prior to camp and be available for 40 hours the week of camp; June 24th - 29th. (Sunday, June 24th will still be part of their training hours). Students do not need to be 4-H members to become a teen leader. Click on the links below for more information.
