Hagerstown, MD (September 7, 2016) - Based on the work of the Board of Education’s (BOE) Policy Review and Development Committee, the BOE approved a first read of Policy KB, entitled “School Activities, Programs and/or Fundraisers Sponsored by School-Based Organizations, Parent Organizations and Booster Clubs.” during its September 6, 2016 business meeting. The BOE is providing an additional opportunity for public comment through the close of business on September 26, 2016.

The BOE is expected to consider a second read and possible adoption of the policy at its October 4 business meeting.
