Leave of Absence

Sometimes events in our life prevent us from being on the job for periods of time. This can impact your pay and your benefits. If you need to be off from work for more than five days and it's not for vacation leave, then you should contact the Benefits Office immediately for guidance. Each employee's situation can be different based on the reason for leave, Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) eligibility and the benefits you are enrolled for. While it is recognized that advance notice is not always possible, contacting the Benefits Office as soon as you become aware of the possibility of a leave will be beneficial to you so you can prepare accordingly.
