Dr. Rachel Kane-Kirkpatrick - Coordinator
Antietam Academy provides an alternative educational opportunity for students. Our program is committed to facilitating the educational progress of students demonstrating difficulties in the areas of behavioral and emotional adjustment to the traditional school setting. Our staff is dedicated to providing a program of study that emphasizes the dignity and value of all students.
Our mission is to help students grow socially, personally and intellectually while inspiring them to reach behavioral and academic success and be able to return to a regular school for completion of their education.
Evening High School
The Washington County Public Schools' Evening High School Program provides course offerings and follows standards established for all WCPS high schools. Students may earn up to two credits toward graduation requirements each semester. Generally, students who attend Evening High School remain enrolled at their home school, while other students are enrolled only at Evening High. Evening High School classes are offered at Antietam Academy, Monday through Thursday from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.
