Hagerstown, MD (May 5, 2023) - Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) is seeking feedback from the community regarding a new curriculum resource. The WCPS Division of Curriculum recommends purchasing Into Math with Waggle from the publisher, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH). Into Math with Waggle will be the comprehensive resource for grades 6-8 mathematics instruction. Into Math with Waggle was selected as a finalist in January 2023 and was subsequently chosen as the preferred resource after being reviewed by 15 middle school math teachers from January through April 2023.  

What is Into Math with Waggle?
Into Math with Waggle delivers a student-centered, outcomes-driven approach to learning mathematics and includes digital delivery and consumable resources that are designed to monitor, predict, and propel student growth. Its methodology generates a deeper understanding of concepts, creates strong conceptual-to-procedural connections, builds fluency, and embeds real-world application opportunities throughout.  Waggle is a supplemental, continuously adaptive learning system for math that offers personalized practice and instruction to meet each student’s individual needs.
