WCPS Clothing Drive for Children In Need Continues in November

Hagerstown, MD (November 11, 2015) – The second round of the 9th Annual Clothing Drive by Washington County Public Schools for Children In Need continues through November 20, 2015. Students, parents, staff and the community are encouraged to donate gently used clothing that Children In Need distributes to children eligible for the Free and Reduced Meals program. Toiletries, books and school supplies are also accepted. The schools participating in the November 2015 collection are:

  • Antietam Academy
  • Barbara Ingram School for the Arts
  • Bester Elementary
  • E. Russell Hicks Middle
  • Emma K. Doub Elementary
  • Fountain Rock Elementary
  • Hickory Elementary
  • Rockland Woods Elementary
  • Sharpsburg Elementary
  • South Hagerstown High
  • Washington County Technical High

Collection boxes will be located at each school and the Center for Education Services, 10435 Downsville Pike, Hagerstown, during regular school and business hours. The Maryland Department of Corrections is providing employees to pick up the donations from each location. Children In Need, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(C) 3 organization founded in 1998.
