On January 17, 2023, the Washington County Board of Education (“Board”) approved the first reading of proposed changes to Policy IKD, entitled “Honor Rolls and Graduation Honors.”

The Board’s Policy Committee (“Committee”) sought comments following the first reading from the community on the proposed changes to the policy.  The Committee reviewed all of the comments received at its February 16, 2023 work session and agreed to table the policy in order to seek additional feedback from specific stakeholders on the proposed changes.  Therefore, the second reading of proposed changes to Policy IKD has been removed from the Board’s February 21, 2023 business meeting agenda.
