WCBOE Seeks Public Comment on Proposed Changes to its Student Dress Code Policy

On November 2, 2021, the Washington County Board of Education (“Board”) approved the first reading of proposed changes to Policy JFCA, entitled “Student Dress Code.”

The Board’s Policy Committee (“Committee”) is seeking comments from the community at this time on the proposed changes to the policy, which is attached.  You may submit your comments on or before November 12, 2021, to the members of the Committee and to the staff liaison to the Committee electronically or by U.S. Mail at the following addresses:

In the event you need a hard copy of the policy with the proposed changes, you may contact the Public Information Office at 301-766-2846.  The Committee anticipates submitting the proposed changes to Policy JFCA to the Board of Education at its public business meeting on November 16, 2021, for the second reading and the Board’s final review and approval.
