The art show has been organized by Lily Clay, art curriculum specialist for WCPS and will feature a number of works by county art teachers. The concert band will be under the direction of Dr. Stephen Miles, supervisor of visual and performing arts, and the jazz band will be led by Scott Benford, band director at South Hagerstown High School. Each of the musical ensembles include current, former and prospective music educators from the area, as well as talented community musicians, members of the WCPS educational community and outstanding student musicians from WCPS.
A $5 donation will be collected at the door, to help establish a scholarship fund to support graduating WCPS students pursuing higher education in the arts.
