Technology Update: Synergy/ParentVUE/StudentVUE

Hagerstown, MD (May 4, 2018) - The Technology Department staff of Washington County Public Schools continues its work to bring all information applications back online after a fire at the Center for Education Services on Sunday, April 29. Smoke damage from the fire knocked out information systems in the Food & Nutrition Services and Transportation departments, but those systems have been restored and are fully operational. The Synergy Student System remains offline, which prevents school staff from updating student information, and parents and students from accessing ParentVUE and StudentVUE, where current and past student information is displayed. As of Friday, May 4, the database of student information has been restored through February 10, 2018, and efforts continue between the Technology Department and the student system vendor to rebuild the database to a more current date. An update will be forthcoming when more information is available.
