Counseling Center News
- Summer school forms are in the counseling center. Please pick one up and fill out the registration form and return it asap if you still need a graduation requirement.
- Work release forms for students wishing to be released for half a day to go to work on their academic day are ready. Forms are available in the counseling center. You will not be allowed to leave school next fall until this paper is completed and you have completed your SSL hours. If you plan to keep the same job you have now, you may fill out and return the paperwork before school dismisses for the year. The counseling center is open Monday – Thursday all summer from 7-3pm for you to stop by as need be. If you want to have a sit-down talk, please call for an appointment.
- This is the time you should be considering what trade school, or two or four-year college you may want to attend after graduation next year. The senior year goes by quickly and you should have your list of where you want to apply before you come back to school next year. Please use your Naviance account to do exploration over the summer. The college match is a great tool to help narrow your list of schools. Also, students going to a 4-year school need to take an ACT or SAT. Both are offered in the summer as well as the fall. Fee waivers are available in the counseling office.
Any questions you can see Mrs. K-B in the counseling center.
