(June 19, 2020) – Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) will begin a schedule of four-day work weeks on Monday, June 22, 2020, continuing through Friday, August 14. Schools and offices will be open expanded hours Monday through Thursday and closed each Friday as an energy and cost-saving measure. Regular hours will resume on Monday, August 17. 

During the summer schedule of four-day weeks, hours will vary at each school, so parents, students and members of the community are encouraged to contact school staff if there is any question about the hours at individual schools. Business hours at the WCPS Center for Education Services, 10435 Downsville Pike, Hagerstown, will be 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. during the summer schedule. 

At this time, WCPS schools and facilities remain closed to visitors. If you need to meet with a school official, please contact the school or the Center for Education Services at 301-766-2800 to make an appointment.
