State Career and Technology Education Awards for WCPS

HAGERSTOWN, MD (April 4, 2018) – The 2018 Maryland Career and Technology Education (CTE) Awards of Excellence program, sponsored by the Division of Career and College Readiness, will feature recognition for Washington County Technical High School’s Homeland Security Program and Dr. Peggy Pugh, associate superintendent for curriculum and instruction for Washington County Public Schools. The Homeland Security Program was chosen as Outstanding CTE Program/Secondary and Dr. Pugh will be recognized for Innovations in CTE.

The awards will be presented at a reception and ceremony on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Holiday Inn Inner Harbor Hotel in Baltimore.
