South Hagerstown High Hosts 2nd Annual International Night on May 23

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 21, 2019) – South Hagerstown High School is hosting its 2nd Annual International Night on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 6 – 8 p.m. The event highlights the diversity in the community in many fun and informational ways. South High students have created displays representing 35 countries; visitors can stop at the displays, and with a correct answer to a question, can earn a food ticket and a stamp in a passport that will be available upon entry to the event. Other highlights include henna tattoos, face-painting, bracelet-making, coloring stations, games and classes in belly dancing, salsa and martial arts. Two dance groups will also perform: the KPOP Crew and the African/Caribbean Dancers. Numerous restaurants have donated diverse types of food, too.

The event is free and open to everyone.
