Pleasant Valley Elementary and Sharpsburg Elementary Reopened Today; Some Bus Routes and Pickup Locations Altered

Posted May 17, 2018

Hagerstown, MD (May 17, 2018) - Pleasant Valley and Sharpsburg elementary schools resumed regular schedules today after being forced to close Wednesday because of flooding issues in the area. A number of affected students at Boonsboro Middle and High schools, Barbara Ingram School for the Arts, Washington County Technical High School and Antietam Academy were also expected back in class today. Because a number of areas were still affected by flooding and high water, the Transportation Department of Washington County Public Schools created a series of temporary, alternate bus routes and pickup/dropoff locations for a number of students. Details of the changes are included in the PDF posted under Documents to the right of this page.
