Hagerstown, MD (February 13, 2017) - North Hagerstown High School won the 2017 Academic Team Championship on Saturday, February 11 at Boonsboro High School. North prevailed against three other teams in the championship round to earn a $1,000 scholarship award for the school. Finishing second was South Hagerstown High School, with Boonsboro High third and Smithsburg High placing fourth. The highest-scoring non-finalist also received a $550 tuition scholarship to Hagerstown Community College for any student attending HCC. That school was Washington County Technical High.
