HAGERSTOWN, MD (March 7, 2019) – Hagerstown Lions Club members distributed books to every student at Pangborn Elementary School this morning. Students were called class by class to the school cafeteria where they could each choose a book to keep.

Principal Eric Meredith appreciated the organization’s donation. “We sincerely thank the Lions Club for generously making these books available to all of our students. Reading and literacy are the foundation of everything we do at Pangborn and putting books into the hands of these children strongly reinforces our mission.”

More than 700 books were distributed.
