Smithsburg, MD (June 28, 2018) - The following letter was crafted today for parents of Smithsburg High School students:

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to share the WCPS Extended Learning Program for the summer of 2018 for all of our students! Each student will have the opportunity to read a variety of engaging books that are selected based on their ability, as well as have access to advanced material that will challenge them to grow. Opportunities for math, science and social studies exploration will also be provided for each student as part of the program. 

There are two ways to access this awesome program. The first way is to use your personal device and visit the website:  http://bit.ly/2rjw3R6 and choose Smithsburg High School. The second way is by signing out an iPad from Smithsburg High School. In order to sign out an iPad you must complete and return the attached document and enroll into iCoverage. The iCoverage fee is $15 and will cover the summer and the 2018-2019 school year. Parents may pay in advance on the iParent Portal or when you pick up your iPad. Ipad pick up dates and times are as follows:

July 9: Noon - 4 p.m.

July 18: 4 - 6 p.m.
