The SGA, NHS, Key Club, Tri-M and Link Crew are helping to make February Cancer Awareness month.  We are joining students of WCPS to help raise money for Cancer Research specifically Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Cancer affects us all.  Most of us in this room have been personally affected by someone we know and love dealing with this terrible disease.

Every school in the county has been asked to raise at least $500.  Here is our plan:
Week 1:         -February 6th the Key Club will have a Miracle Minute during lunch.
-February 8th the Link Crew is selling chocolate covered strawberries.
Week 2:         -All week the SGA is selling carnations for Valentine’s Day.
                        -February 15th Tri-M is hosting a Valentine’s Day Dance.
Week 3&4:    -Both weeks students can buy an Awareness Ribbon to honor someone they      love who has been affected by cancer.  The Ribbons will be hung in the front stairwell.
Please help BISFA meet and even exceed the goal of $500!!!
Cash of course ….but checks are also welcome and can be made out to LLS.
Talk to your family, find your spare change – every little bit helps
