Hagerstown, MD (February 16, 2019) - Boonsboro Middle School 8th-grader Yifan Zhang was the winner of the Washington County Spelling Bee on Saturday, February 16, 2019. He earned a trip to the national spelling bee in Washington, DC. Springfield Middle School's Jacynta Jones won the 6th-grade bee and home school student Neilson Parrott was the 7th-grade champion.
