BOE Seeking Public Comment on Proposed Policies on Elementary Grading System and on Grade Change Requirements and Appeals

Hagerstown, MD (September 18, 2019) - The Washington County Board of Education (BOE), at its September 17, 2019 business meeting, approved the first reading of proposed Policy IKAB, entitled, "Grading System for Elementary Schools" and Policy IKC, entitled, "Grade Change Requirements and Appeals."

The BOE's Policy Committee is seeking comments from the community on the proposed changes, which are displayed in PDFs under Documents to the right of this page. You may submit your comments on or before September 27, 2019, electronically to the members of the Committee and to the staff liaison to the Committee. The e-mail addresses are as follows:
