BOE Seeking Public Comment on Proposed Changes to Policy on Teaching About Controversial Issues

Hagerstown, MD (July 19, 2018) - The Washington County Board of Education (BOE), at its July 17, 2018 business meeting, approved the first reading of proposed changes to Policy INB, entitled "Teaching About Controversial Issues (Political Activities)." 

The BOE's Policy Committee is seeking comments from the community on the proposed policy changes, which are displayed as a PDF under Documents to the right of this page. You may submit your comments on or before August 3, 2018, electronically to the members of the Committee and to the staff liaison to the Committee.  The e-mail addresses are as follows:
