BOE Seeking Public Comment on Proposed Changes to Policies on Bullying, Harassment or Intimidation and on Threat Assessment

Hagerstown, MD (September 4, 2019) - The Washington County Board of Education (BOE), at its September 3, 2019 business meeting, approved the first reading of proposed changes to Policy JFH, entitled "Policy Prohibiting Bullying, Harassment or Intimidation," and Policy JLD, entitled, "School Safety - Threat Assessment team and Behavior Threat Assessment Policy."

The BOE's Policy Committee is seeking comments from the community on the proposed changes, which are displayed in PDFs under Documents to the right of this page. You may submit your comments on or before September 13, 2019, electronically to the members of the Committee and to the staff liaison to the Committee. The e-mail addresses are as follows:
