BACK TO SCHOOL UPDATE AUGUST 24, 2020
Posted August 24, 2020
Welcome back BISFA Families! A special welcome to our new incoming students and our new program students from technical high school. We are very excited to begin our 12th year at BISFA! As one of the top schools in Maryland, our mission remains to give all students a rigorous, comprehensive, academic program rooted in a pre-professional arts philosophy. The current reality of Covid-19 has created barriers to that vision, but we are committed to working through the confines to create and have an innovative, successful year. Regardless if we end up distance learning all year or we come back to live sessions, we are committed to making this year invaluable to the lives of our students.
The first day of school is Monday, August 31. Since we cannot gather in a group for our traditional back to school event, we will be breaking it into two parts.
This letter contains a link to the BISFA INFORMATIONAL MATRIX. It will also be posted on the google classroom, the web site and the newsletter. The link is embedded with links to videos as well as important forms and frequently asked questions. It will be updated as needed with new information throughout the year.
We will also hold family zoom sessions for specific details and to answer questions on August 26 and 27. I am breaking them up due to the 100 participant limit max. They will last about 45 minutes. Please try to join the meeting associated with your group - however, if you have a conflict - you can join another.
