34th Annual CTE Awards on May 14 at North Hagerstown High

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 11, 2018) – The 34th Annual Awards of Excellence in Career Technology Education, a partnership between Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) and Purdue University Global, will be presented on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 7 p.m. at North Hagerstown High School. WCPS Career Technology Education (CTE) teachers have nominated 63 students to be recognized as outstanding students in specific CTE programs. Programs represent ten different career clusters: Arts, Media and Communication; Business Management and Finance; Construction and Development; Consumer Services, Hospitality and Tourism; Environmental, Agriculture and Natural Resources; Health and Biosciences; Human Resource Services; Information Technology; Manufacturing, Engineering and Technology; Transportation Technologies; and Career Research and Development.

In addition, Purdue University Global instructors will be acknowledging 30 students for their outstanding accomplishments in that school’s Career Technology programs.
