Interactive School District Map
This application depicts attendance zone boundaries based on assigned addresses within Washington County. Because many municipalities have streets with identical names (i.e. “Main” or “Maple”), users are encouraged to use full addresses, and make use of drop-down lists of known addresses, when searching for attendance zones to increase accuracy. Insufficient information or input errors can result in erroneous information being returned. Users should also visually verify the location of the “house” icon that is displayed, to ensure it accurately reflects the location of their property on the map. In the event the application cannot locate an address, it will provide the user with a contact number to offer assistance. If you experience an issue with utilizing this tool, click the “Contact” button at the top of the page.
The interactive school attendance zone map is an application provided by the Washington County Government Geographic Information System Office, and utilizes a database of address points that are maintained and updated by the County. The results provided by this tool can be subject to errors based on the look-up algorithm, user input and other factors. The attendance zones depicted are approved by the Board of Education of Washington County. Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) is not responsible for errors observed or encountered while using this application. Questions regarding school assignments should be directed to the WCPS Student Services Department: 301.766.2960.
